How do I book a session?

Sonic Spectrum operates by appointment only — all sessions must be booked in advance. Use our online booking system — select your service, pick a date and time slot, fill in your details, and complete payment via Stripe. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately after. Walk-ins are not accepted.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Please reach out to us at info@sonicspectrumstudio.com as soon as possible if you need to change your booking.

Can I extend my session on the day?

Extensions are subject to availability. If no booking follows yours, we're happy to accommodate — just let us know at the start of your session so we can check the schedule. Remember, all bookings must be made in advance — same-day walk-ins are not accepted.

Is the studio private during my session?

Yes. All sessions are fully private. You have exclusive access to the studio for the entire duration of your booking. You may bring one guest (Artist + Plus 1 policy).

Do you offer any packages or discounts for regular clients?

We reward consistency. Reach out to us directly via email or Instagram @sonicspectrum.fm to discuss recurring booking arrangements and loyalty rates.

What DJ equipment is available in the studio?

The studio is equipped with 2x Pioneer CDJ-3000 multi-players, a Pioneer DJM-V10 6-channel mixer, Pioneer RMX-1000 FX unit, 2x Pioneer PLX-1000 turntables, and a Yamaha Stagepas 1K PA system.

Are the CDJ-3000s compatible with my USB drive?

Yes. The CDJ-3000s support USB drives formatted in FAT32 or exFAT. We recommend using USB 3.0 drives for the best performance. Files should be analyzed in rekordbox beforehand for the smoothest experience.

Can I connect my laptop or external controller?

The studio is optimized for the Pioneer CDJ/DJM setup. If you need to connect a laptop via rekordbox Link or Serato, please mention it when booking so we can confirm compatibility in advance.

Is the mixer compatible with Serato DJ?

The DJM-V10 is fully compatible with Serato DJ Pro. You can connect your laptop via USB and use the mixer as your audio interface and controller.

Can I use my own needles/cartridges on the turntables?

Yes. If you prefer your own cartridges and needles for vinyl sessions on the PLX-1000s, you're welcome to bring them. The headshells use a standard mount.

What should I bring for a Practice Session?

Bring a USB drive with your music library pre-analyzed in rekordbox (highly recommended), any vinyl records if you plan to use the turntables, and headphones if you have a preferred pair — though studio monitors are available.

What do I need for the 4K Recording Session?

Bring your prepared USB/music library and dress for your shoot. Think about your look — the 4K footage is production-quality. We handle all the camera and lighting setup.

Do I need to bring my own headphones?

You're welcome to use the studio's monitoring setup, but if you're used to performing with a specific pair of headphones, bringing your own is always a good idea for comfort and familiarity.

Should I pre-analyze my tracks in rekordbox?

Absolutely — this is strongly recommended. Pre-analyzing in rekordbox (free version is fine) ensures your tracks load instantly, waveforms are accurate, and beat grids are set correctly on the CDJ-3000s.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) via Stripe, as well as PayPal. Both options are available at checkout when you book online.

Why does my PayPal charge show "305FIXMYPC, INC"?

305FIXMYPC, INC is the registered parent company that operates Sonic Spectrum DJ Studio. When you pay via PayPal, the charge on your bank statement or PayPal activity will display as 305FIXMYPC, INC — this is completely normal and expected. Your booking at Sonic Spectrum is fully confirmed. If you have any concerns, please contact us at info@sonicspectrumstudio.com and we will be happy to clarify.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. All card payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of security certification available. We never store your card details. PayPal payments are processed through PayPal's own secure infrastructure.

Will I receive a receipt after payment?

Yes. You will receive a booking confirmation email immediately after your payment is processed. Stripe and PayPal will also send their own payment receipts to the email address used at checkout.

Who are the advanced classes for?

Our classes are designed for DJs who want to go beyond the basics — whether you're intermediate or professional. The curriculum focuses on manual beatmatching, phrasing, set narrative, and advanced FX techniques.

How do I enroll in an Advanced Class?

Classes are by inquiry only. Fill out the enrollment form on the Home page or contact us directly. We'll assess your current level and tailor the curriculum to your goals.
